About Regina

Structure.
And Soul.

"I don't just help people grow. I help people recognize that who they are is already more than enough."

— Regina Kynard

Regina Kynard sits at a rare intersection: the strategic rigor of an HR professional and the deep humanity of a coach, author, and mental health specialist who has navigated real loss while continuing to lead. Her approach — which she calls Structure and Soul — is the belief that sustainable leadership requires both organizational strategy and human healing.

With a Master in Liberal Studies, QMHS certification, and experience spanning HR management, life and career coaching, published authorship, and award-winning research, Regina brings credentials and lived expertise that few practitioners hold together. She creates spaces where people — emerging leaders, women, college students, and entire organizations — move from stuck to forward.

She is the 2024 Graduate Research Presentation Winner from the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Ohio Chapter for her research on BIPOC communities, a selected presenter at the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity (NCORE), and a recipient of the Woman of Service award presented by Warren AME Church and the University of Toledo. She serves on multiple nonprofit boards, facilitates empowerment workshops with young girls, and has built a body of work across leadership development, personal empowerment, and grief-informed practice.

The Philosophy

Why Structure
and Soul?

Most leadership development programs give you one or the other. A strategic framework with no room for the human being underneath it. Or empowerment work with no practical tools to carry back to work on Monday. Regina builds both — because the leaders organizations need, and the people those leaders are, cannot be separated.

01

Identity Before Title

Leadership begins with who you are, not what your job description says. We start there — always.

02

Lived Experience Is Data

What you have been through — loss, struggle, rebuilding — is not a liability. In the right space, it becomes your most powerful leadership asset.

03

Systems That Serve People

HR strategy, policy, and organizational structure matter — and they work best when the humans inside them are seen, developed, and valued.

04

Transformation, Not Information

Anyone can teach content. The goal is that people leave different — not just knowing more, but being more.
